In October this year (2005), Olympus announced the
Olympus SP700 a 6.0 megapixel addition to its new SP series of cameras. They’ve squeezed all the controls on the back of the camera to one side, so there’s a huge 3 inch
LCD, the biggest yet on an Olympus camera. There’s a special guide function for beginners, which explains the different menu options and scene modes. It will available in time for Christmas this year.

There is also an
Underwater Housing, so Scuba Divers can see this large screen underwater.
