The Red Sea’s first purpose-sunk wreck off Hurghada is now open to divers with a minimum of 100 logged dives and certified as BSAC sports diver or equivalent. The former cargo ship Hebbat Allah lies “bolt upright” between 75 and 130 feet near South Erog Giftun. The Red Sea Association hopes the 150-foot-long Hebbat Allah wreck will alleviate pressure on other crowded dive sites in the area.
